Hello, friends. Now, if we were cats, we would undoubtedly be begging our butts off for human food every day. Just think about it – brown, dry kibble seems super unappealing compared to a delicious sushi roll, freshly caught shrimp, or a nice slice of ham. And our cats know it too! We, being the cat-worshipping feline enthusiasts that we are, simply cannot stand by while our cats eat brown kibble; they deserve to be spoiled, at least every once in a while!

Fellow cat-loving human beans recently took to the interwebs to respond to a thread inquiring, 'What human food do you occasionally spoil your cat with?'     MrBreffas 5 days ago Husband works at a fish store and brings her home "chunks" the discards from the fish they cut. She gets a few tiny slices at a time as a treat. Sometimes she enjoys "bouillabaisse" - - I take a chunk and put it in the microwave with some water to make her delicious fish soup. She loves the broth.

    Tyr_Kukulkan 5 days ago . Raw tuna, salmon, shrimp, beef, chicken... Cooked tuna, salmon, shrimp, beef, chicken... Also hams, cheeses... Occasionally a bit of cream... He gets spoiled rotten, within reason. He is slim, athletic and healthy.

    Rich-Watercress-4011 4 days ago My previous cat lived to be 19 years old he ate mostly fresh fish trimmings from my husband's fishing catches. My current cats and the dog get fresh fish as treat when we have it. They all love it.

    Replacement163 5 days ago . Exotic One of mine loves chicken, the other isn't interested, neither seem to like poached salmon, strangely. If I am cooking steak or lamb I'll cut off a little bit without any seasoning or spices (just meat no fat) and diced them up a teaspoon or so each which they love (and now expect). I read somewhere that the meat we eat is so much more calorific than their regular food or what they would have in the wild that you have to be very careful to avoid them putting on

    . SassySins21 5 days ago Our cats will eat anything if you give them half a chance. Went to get a glass of water, our youngest was making a run for it with my lamb chop. If we're cooking meat we'll put a little bit aside to give them (kangaroo is one of their favourites) and I'll poach little bites of chicken breast if I'm making it. We'll give them most meats as long as it's free from sauces/seasoning/not fatty.

    hankenator14 days ago I get surrounded by 4 cats every workday morning when I make my ham sandwich. Every kitty gets a little piece, we call it ham club. Ham club meets Friday- Monday at 6:50 am. Also the first thing my newish kitten meowed for.
